The GRiSO will go down as one of motorcyclings great designs.
I am actually quite fond of the stock exhaust system and the side mount oil cooler,
Some of life's most celebrated creations are often the most polarizing.

Hear hear!! The Griso is so unique, not for everyone to be sure...it’s unique even amongst Guzzis!

Tks for posting that link, very well written, filed it away for the information on setting the suspension up.

I concur with the writer, the Griso is a very fine do it all road bike  :thumb:

"The 61-inch long wheelbase is a handful in tight turns, but on fast sweepers the Griso takes a set, and rails like a freight train. The engine crackles and pops intoxicatingly on overrun, and is always there, ladling out gobs of torque whenever the throttle is twisted. Each time I twist the throttle, I feel like a kid who just clipped a baseball card into the spokes of his Schwinn. Vrrooooommmm….."

I'm still struggling with my corner entries, and I'm re-learning proper trail braking (shout out to Jon DeVecchio's book), but man once you set a Griso into a corner it just feels fantastic.  And this guy would learn a little about Mark and his maps he wouldn't have to listen that crackle and pop.

Oh, and that horn thingy...  yeh that is head shaker!

There are only four things I can see.
I have only ridden one (Wyno’s), and concur that it is a muscular beast..(the bike, not Wyno).
However, on the topic of the 4 things..
Handlebars seem a bit (unnecessarily) wide.
Toaster on the side (with no complimentary bread and butter).
Tortuous header system with Star Wars muffler.
No fuel tank.
A styling tour de force though to be sure and at licence loss and impound speed, my Norge feels in comparison like it’s got a pair of Carlo Guzzi’s socks stuck in the throttle bodies.

Muscular yes...like riding a bull.
Handlebars are too wide...agreed...am also looking for one that is a bit narrower, they do offer risers to bring them up and back a bit which makes the riding position more comfortable.
Toaster - some things are art
Muffler stock sounds excellent...looks a little funky,  but it's like a cool pair of 70's block shoes...almost like a purple pimp mobile...over the top, but stylish at the same time.
Fueling not an issue with a Beetle map...regularly get 40 mpg, can squeeze 160 miles...and that's plenty enough to get off, walk around and admire the beast while others do the same.

IT'S A LOOKER...like a fantastic 911 Porsche, that eats up rear tires at a prodigious rate, but still fun as shit to drive!

Totally Agree ... It's a "Looker". The only reason I bought one (2 actually) was because I thought it was the Baddest Looking Stock Bike I had ever seen! The only Guzzi I've ever owned or ridden.
