New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
While flicking through the channels, I landed on a drama where the main character rides up on a "1100 Griso," as described by another character. This other character proceeds to diagnose a "clogged air filter," removes the seat, and pulls out a flat panel air filter, which he knocks against his hand and re-installs. When the first character starts the bike, it sounds like . . . Wait for it . . . An inline 4 cylinder.
Kinda reminds me of the "Airplane" movies where they had "propeller" background sound effects for a jet airliner. But that was a deliberate joke! What show?
Yep..Why..?Just...Why ?
The simple answer to "why?" is because the sound editor has "stock" recordings of 4-cyl motorcycle engines already sitting on his computer but the proper sound of a Guzzi engine would have to be recorded so it's much easier/quicker/cheaper to just use what they have.
