Sure hope that was all covered under warranty.

The bike is a year out of warranty (two years this august). But Piaggio did help with the parts and I’m appreciative of that for sure.

After a bike has an issue like yours did it may take a several miles before you trust it again but time will heal👍

Cool.      I wanted a MGX but just a bit too heavy for me in my advanced years. But the Audace was a bit lighter and I am handling it just fine for now. I love the 1400 motor. Hang tight, trust will come back.

I like a happy ending.

So - tell me, in what way is it now better than it was before?

It's actually quieter and seems to pull smoother. It made a considerable amount of "chatter" before at idle but I dismissed it as normal because I couldn't hear it at speed.

That's one mean machine.  Tried the video but it said it was restricted.  Glad you get to enjoy it now.

"It's actually quieter and seems to pull smoother."

Makes sense, especially considering what was wrong.

Yes. Right now the only thing that concerns me is it appears to still be consuming oil. I'm hoping it'll settle down and stabilize soon. I can't own something that uses oil.

I'd say keep the shiny side up, but it doesn't really look shiny
