Nice loop weekend
« on: May 10, 2020, 04:37:47 PM »
Still working in Springfield, MO but had the weekend free. Saturday, I headed south on US 160 to MO 76 and went west to MO 39 south which turns in AR 221 and then AR 21. Once to Clarksville, headed west on US 64 to Ozark and followed AR 23 to Booneville then back east on MO 10 to Ola. AR 7 to Russelville for the night. Big D's was out of ribs so I had a mess of catfish with the spicy rib sauce. Today, it was AR 27 up to AR 14 east. And then just past Big Flat, AR 341 up to Mountain Home. Then AR 5, MO5 to US 160 and finished up on AR 125 to near Springfield. Roads were great. Today's traffic was amazingly light. Perfect sunny weekend.
Can't believe how well this bike runs with the hydro motor, loop flywheel, 36 PHFs and the ecu tuned to 70s points ignition curve.

Man, I just love those kinds of roads.

And a bike with a 21st century motor and 1960s brakes!   Made exactly like you want it.

Riding life doesn't get better than that.

It is nice to be on an old slug that's been faithful for years. There's more to the story about the vin plate, etc but with modern day snooping, I haven't discussed details about the mileage on that licence plate and vin plate.
