Monument Valley, bordering AZ & UT is breathtaking!  I tried transversing that area in the minivan until I realized a flat tire would not be nice to fix out there.....(I do carry a plug kit and compressor)

And the music was a good as the films

Highly recommend you watch the Danish National Orchestra performing Morricone's music. OUATITW is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efdswXXjnBA but I think their Good,Bad and Ugly is even better.

Morricone has got to be up there amongst the great composers of all time I reckon. And Leone was pretty damn talented as well.

Same, I've watched that trilogy many times. Absolutely excellent cinema.

I played bass in a band for several years and the keyboard/composer was a HUGE fan of that composer.  Needless to say we had a blast playing stuff with that musical influence.

As a lapsed keyboard player and cinematographer myself, I couldn't let this Leone and Morricone discussion past without mentioning Booker T's version of Hang' em High. I was fortunate enough to hear them perform this live in San Diego.
