I hooked up the new Yuasa and the bike runs. The negative side has 2 cables connected to it. The positive side now has 4 cables connected to it (3 originally and now the starter relay kit too). The plastic cover on top of the battery will not fit right at all. Could someone with a 2008 Norge please post a good pic of how the cables are routed and connected to the battery please. Thanks

I think I figured it out. I hooked up the main positive cable, the black wrapped positive cable and the starter relay kit cable and it works 90 % I guess. I left the heated grip cable off cause 4 things on 1 terminal is terrible. I never had a bike with all these cables attaching to the battery ever. Please send pics so I may improve my situation if you will. The Norge has been a "learning: experience to say the least, SMH. thanks again for any help, it's appreciated.

Many of the earlier Guzzis would use the large terminal on the starter solenoid as a marshalling point for positive connections, there's a large positive feed there anyway.
For example the fuse for your kit could be fed from there.

I don't think the schematic represents it very well, obviously the large red cable goes directly to the solenoid not as shown,
One of the smaller reds will be for the normal fuses (24), the other red will be for the ABS fuses (67)
Who knows where connector C goes, with the two main fuses perhaps.

I ended up cutting a bit of the battery top cover away round the positive terminal. But you do need to jiggle the wires around a bit.
Brian.
