Bell Crank Cable Source

The internal cable #8951@76mm is no longer available from Dellorto.  There is a 73mm cable (8831) or a (11003)  non flexible rod. Anyone have an opinion on which of the two available are OK. The rod would be easier to attach to the slide but I can see how there might be issues with movement.

I looked at their website but it doesn't look like they have any of the 76mm cables as Dellorto no longer makes the part. The Carburetor Shop has the 73mm cables and I will give them a call this morning, but I'm not sure if that 3 mm difference is an issue. I have one carb with a fraying cable which I've trimmed but it would be nice to have a spare in case it goes south.

You can always convert to flat tops which I did once upon a time.

This being my first bike with these carb tops, I think it is easier to deal with the cables than the flat top carbs. The pull does seem a bit stiffer but not a huge difference than the flat tops.

Yes, they are the last resort if the 73mm cables won't work.
