greets,
I bought a 04 Stone that was sitting for about 5 yrs. of course the tank had crud gas.
I prefer carbs, I actually like the cough and sputter. weird.
And have reworked with HD carbs, Honda sohc , but EFI is new to me.
how do I remove the injectors with out gorilla moves ?
I can find many a youtube that shows cleaning injectors, but not one that addresses specifically removing them..
thank you....

Easy/peasy-- A long 1/4" extension & torx /allen, which ever can't remember. Work from opposite side, cause bolt for block is on the inside. If you need more play, there is screws top & bottom of rails into each throttle body.
Injectors sit in a block held on by 2 screws. Unhook hoses of course. Have Fun!!

I see no screws/nuts of any kind. I removed the clip for the elect., then a C clip that held a split ring. But nothing wants to move. Then the injector should pull right out.? ?

I now see the 2 torx screws. And would like to curse the fine Italian engineer who designed that way to connect injectors.
Thanks.....

If you take the individual TB screws out off the rails and loosen the intake & airbox clamps, you can rotate them for ease of lining up to get strait on the torx.

Being a bit lazy and concerned I may end up turning a simple little project into a big job.......I would run some Sea Foam or Techron FI cleaner before doing it the manual way. Cheap and easy to do.
