$3250. Van Nuys, CA
Very clean and well-preserved daily rider. The front fairing was repainted sometime in the ‘90s and the rear turn signals are generic, other than that, everything is all very original, to the best of my knowledge. I am the third owner. 65k + miles. The previous owner had it for more than 25 years and rode it as his primary transportation. I have only owned it for about a month but have used it nearly every day on my 42 mile commute and it is more than up to the task. I acquired it because I was simultaneously working two separate deals, one for this and one for a BMW R75/6, long-story-short, both deals worked out but I have decided to keep the BMW primarily because it’s condition is considerably more rough and therefore I don’t feel as guilty using it as a workhorse commuter. This Guzzi has done and survived her workhorse days and deserves to be pampered now. Sadly I don’t really have the need for two such similar bikes and really shouldn’t have put out the money.
With all of that said, I would entertain trade offers for older, smaller bikes; Guzzi Stornello Sport or other ‘50s-‘60s Italian single or Moto Rumi twin. I also like old British stuff but lean more toward the odd brands as opposed to the big three, but open to hearing about anything. I’m also into classic scooters.
In addition to motorcycles, I’d also be willing to trade for machine tools (milling, boring, etc.), interesting classic European sports cars and microcars, ‘60-‘63 Ford Ranchero or a later clean American pickup truck. Let me know what you’ve got. Or just make a cash offer.
More pictures and questions answered upon request. Thanks.
