By now everyone is aware that 12S has a new caretaker!

She's gone to greener pastures, and a new lease on life!  Bulldog 9 has accepted the responsibility of feeding and grooming the 1200 Sport.  Steve will treat her well!

So, I'm down to two bikes, once again.  It's been a while since I could say that.
2016 Bonneville T120
1991 BMW R100GS

The GS has had about all the $$ that's going to be thrown her way, at least for the short term. Rolling on good rubber, good brakes, new monoshock, top end refresh, with lots of the wear item tranny mechanicals and driveshaft replaced over a period of the last 6-8 years, much of the work being done in the past 2 years.  So the GS is a reliable ride, once again.  Mileage 161,000.

The Bonnie.  Bought used in Nov 2019 with slightly over 1600 miles showing.  PO traded on a BMW R9T.  Starting to adapt to this bike.  All bottom end torque ...... winding to 4500rpm in lower gears is more than adequate.  In most cases, more than necessary.  Geared a little bit tall for my riding, so will replace the 37 tooth rear sprocket with a 40, which is currently sitting on my kitchen counter awaiting installation. Mileage at end of today's ride .... 3999 miles.  How could someone own a sweetheart like this, and put only 1600 miles on the bike in 4 years?  Criminal!

Thanks again Bob!

Getting to the bones, doing a cleanup and refresh, beetlemap, fresh fluids, valve adjust and TB balance  filters & plugs, run some aux lights front and rear, usb power up front, oxford grip heaters, LED bulbs, and suspension adjustments, and a few other things.

The 400+ miles home was HOT but wonderful, and I am getting it ready for a 3000 mile Labor Day romp.

Current status and pics of the ride home.
