Hello everyone! I know this has been discussed in detail but I'm having trouble finding more information. My 2007 Breva v1100 dash has been funky. I've replaced it with the only thing that exists, a Norge US MPH dash (883568). Everything seems to work fine at face value except for one thing, the "Trip 1/2 mode" switch doesn't really control anything with ease. So here is the question... I've done as much research as I can and have found the first generation Breva (early 06 I think) came with the Norge style left hand switch 886229. My parts catalogue shows the original switch 977522(886229) same as the Norge and the current one GU05738030 as options. Does anyone know if this 886229 is plug and play? I'm wondering if I can install a Norge style switch and have full functionality of the Norge dash on a Breva. The display pin outs are the same and the only thing I see different is the Human interface control i.e. the left-hand switches. There is one individual roaming around that has Norge switches on an old 06 Breva with a Norge stamped display, whom says everything works as designed but I can't find the individual.
