Thanks for posting the link Nick! I had already started on your latest book. Enjoying it very much.

Just a question if it’s not too intrusive. If it is just say so, my feelings certainly won’t be hurt. I read your books on kindle unlimited. Do you receive proper remuneration that way, or am I and others fleecing yourself and other authors? Just a question that I’ve thought of when I read quality work on unlimited.

Thanks and safe travels, Robert

Hi Robert,
Since I'm never likely to make anything but beer money (gas money, actually) from my various books, it doesn't really matter at all.
I sell more digital versions because they're cheaper but I get a good percentage of what you pay, so it's all good.  Some people like digital, some like having a book in their hands and a few deluded people like the sound of my voice

Actually the digital versions give authors a chance to expose themselves (hmmm) to a larger market than traditional books, and since us 'Amazon - self publishers' don't have the resources of typical publishers behind us, all exposure is good news.

I'm just happy that people get some pleasure from them - and for some, a little inspiration.   I'm realise I'm writing to a very small market.  Perhaps if I bought myself a Harley and wrote to that market...........bu t then again, maybe not.

Stay well, and thanks for your concern. It's all good. :boozing: :thumb:

I should also add that positive reviews of any kind on Amazon are like gold dust. People will take a risk on a book with a lot of positive review - lots of negative ones, not so much.

Nick

Thanks very much. I do really enjoy your writings. You have a nice enjoyment of riding that should resonate with most every rider. I’ll check and make sure I’ve left reviews.
