Norge rear brake going soft regularly
« on: October 21, 2020, 08:28:52 PM »
I have a 2011 Norge, the rear brake needs to be bled every 600 miles as it has air in the line and the brake pedal goes soft.  Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Probably a Brembo master cylinder.  If so, they are notorious for going bad and allowing the rear brake to turn to mush.  You can get rebuild parts for the master cylinder but replacement is quicker and simpler.

When I parked mine for the night or longer I jammed a screwdriver in so the rear brake was applied and never had that issue again. Mine was an ‘09. Camping trips and the like I did not do it, parked at home? Yes.
'09 Norge new in '11, sold in '17, 37000 very good miles, thanks to this forum. '17 Roadster new in '17
