Anyone have insight into when Guzzi will break cover with what they have on tap for their hundredth anniversary?

In Germany, dealers report that in 2021 there will be a V7 IV with the engine of the V85, reduced to 65 HP. But I don't know when this will be officially announced.

Yes  to keep it cheaper for the V 7 ,....basicly one Motor for for 2 or more Bikes. And than a new 1000 [ 1200 ]for the Sportbike ,Cruiser Fraction.
If you want it sportier  you have to buy Aprilla , the problem is that Piaggio is the Motherhen .
KTM , big Money out of India, Ducati,.... VW , Indian well Polaris and so on .All these Companys are building something else that just Mototrcycles, so to keep Guzzi afloat stick with a more simplyfied Platform.
My Dealer here in Manitoba tells me 'the End of November" for more 'good 'News.

Why detune it to 65hp?!?!

The V7 frame and suspension probably can't cope with whatever the V85 makes, the other question is when doesn the next level of Euro emissions come in?

They will likely go with a smaller displacement of the V85 (which is Euro5 Compliant), so that would effect power. I'm still hoping they will find another 80-90cc's to get over 900 and release a 1000S or Lemans.  They could do a lot even with the V85 Chassis as is, much in the same way brilliant way BMW has adapted the 9RT platform.  Mario and Luigi need to put down the Vino and get to it!

Why detune it to 65hp?!?!

To bring on the torque quickly at lower revs.  Don't have to wring it to feel the power.
