valve clearance 78 Convert
« on: January 12, 2021, 06:29:02 PM »
I am without my manual at the moment and a search of the site was unsuccessful.....ca n someone tell me the proper tappet clearances for a '78 Convert....I think I have set them at .008 inches for both intake and exhaust but I cannot remember for sure.  Best to ask and thank you in advance.

I always used .009" on both intake and exhaust, but decided to try .006" intake and .008" exhaust. Slightly quieter, but that's about it.
