NGC Bridgestone street scrambler

I really like the style of these Bridgestone street scramblers, lovely dual high pipes on this one. The curves in the gas tank side panels are beautiful and I think unique to the Bridgestone line.

In 1968 I bought a new Suzuki X6 Hustler, 250cc 2 stroke twin with a 6 speed. One of the fastest bikes 0 to 60. But the Bridgestones were cool. One of my friends had a Bridgestone gtr 350. Another had a 175 street scrambler. I would love this Bridgestone.

 I have a front wheel with brake from one if anybody needs one. It was mounted on my Benelli 2c. Kind of.

My first bike.  I had to keep it at the machine shop where I was working of the summer.  I was 15.

That's a really nice example.  They were high quality motorcycles and way ahead of their time....and better than anything out there at the time.

Always like the story how the BIG FOUR from Japan asked Bridgestone if they wanted to make motorcycles or tires...

The BIG FOUR basically shut them down as they did not want the competition...and Bridgestone wanted to continue to sell all of them tires.
