Wow, you are the first person I've heard of that got it working!!

Does it really have info on how often traction control or ABS was activated?

And the lean angle stuff, does it have any historic info ... like after a ride you can see what happened?  Or is it all just instant display info only?

  It has lots of useful stuff and yes you can see what you did on your ride. But to be honest I haven't used it that much and learned all the things it can do . Its really cool and nice to have tho .

Not having any experience with the MMP, but thinking about the other thread regarding a method of getting a temp reading off the engine, does the MMP have a field that is able to display engine temp?

I've had mine running on the Stornello for almost 2 years. Is a decent app, though a bit wonky with connect and reconnect. You have to close and reopen the app every time you start the bike.

The 4 small fields on the left and one large on the right can be toggled and you can select from all the various options by tapping or swiping.

There is no engine temp info. Guzzi Diag lets you see the air intake and overall engine temp. It would be great if this app did too, but no mas. Would be nice to have an elevation and air temp reading too.

As to the question on data logging for the TC, I don't think so, but have never looked for that in the trip data, but the screen does weird things based on conditions. I think the 'trip' function gives miles, mpg, etc.

The little eagle turns red or green based on how 'economical' you are riding
The Screen will flash red at redline
The Screen color is different if you have the TC off

Down load the app to your phone.  You can learn a fair bit just from the instructions and such, you don’t need the mgmp to do this.

Is a decent app and gives you 5 fields to choose data from.  As said earlier, the only thing I find lacking is no engine temp info data. When the APP is open, it is only oriented one way which can be a pain depending on where your charging port is and how it is mounted.

Master tuner chrisfer says engine temperature is available on the CANbus which is on the BlueDash/MGMP connector: https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=109113.msg1731640#msg1731640

Actually it's not clear this data is on the CANbus or K-line but probably CANbus.  I hope so because Louis97 accepted my challenge to connect a SpeedJut tachometer to the BlueDash connector and if doesn't work I'm out some $s.

Do you feel like it was (is) a reasonable investment? Living in Kona, it would probably be of limited use around the island, but it should prove more useful on a multi-month trip. I'm wondering if the cost/rewards would be sufficient for a single trip. Of course, I suppose I could remove the hardware and sell it after my return.

Reasonable and Value is always subjective.  Do you like having a quick view of your current voltage, current gear, instant/average fuel mileage, a digital tach and speedo or any number of 10 options in one place for every ride? If so, you may like it and think it is worth it.

I do, though as I've mentioned before, I wish it had some way to display engine temp.  IMO, if you don't find that info valuable for normal riding, why would you for a trip?
