REPLACEMANT QUOTA TACHOMETER?

If locating an outfit to repair the stock Veglia Borletti tach is problematic [Palo Alto Speedo = NO; N. Hollywood Speedo = NO] should or can I find a replacement electronic gauge?

(I traced the line from pin 3 of the ECU and there is resistance, as well as 7v going to the gauge while the engine is running. Gauge no work.  Am I correct in concluding the stock tach is defective?)

My Quota tach "works", but the low number is now ~700 rpms vs. 0.  And who knows if it is off by 700 all the way up (like is an indicated 5000 rpm really 4300? or 4500?  or 5000?).  I was thinking of rigging something up to test, I know idle is way off. 

I did a bit of looking for a replacement and found some tachs that I think would work and fit in the hole in the dash ... but they don't say Moto Guzzi, no eagle emblem on the face.  They were around $150 and about that I time I started thinking it really doesn't matter.     Would you be interested in that?  Or are you looking for an OEM replacement?

I could continue to live without a tach, but I like to see the needles swing back and forth.  It's been inoperative since I bought the bike.

Speedo is off as well, as I replaced the stock 7/33 rear drive with an 8/33.  Now its off at least 6-7mph and so is odometer.

All I know is that the tach is 80MM wide. I suspect the speedo is too.  I may replace the speedo due to the messed up trip meter.

Funny, my trip meter is kind of messed up.  The cable with the 180 degree bend in the back just doesn't work turning the knob on the dash to reset the trip meter.  So I let the cable dangle down behind the headlight area.  Then when I fill up with gas I reach under the headlight area, twist the knob, and with no bend in the cable it works fine.  Fixed!
