MGNOC and our monthly meet and greets

I have been getting emails through the MGNOC, from a Jon, the new Tennessee Guzzi rep I believe who is setting up get togethers for Guzzi riders.  I therefore believe it is probably better that I stop putting the monthly meet and greets together after the April 24th one in Waynesville NC (At the Haywood Smokehouse in Waynesville at 1pm Eastern Time) as there is no reason for me to take away from the MGNOC Tennessee rep's efforts.

I will still have the Annual Burgers, Brats, Bikes, BS weekend campout at our place in Cleveland Tn for you riders that would be kind enough to join Peggy and I for a fun filled weekend of good food etc. 

Thanks for supporting the monthly meet and greets and although I cant make the March one at Two Wheels of Suches for lunch, (March 27th noon at Suches),  i will be at the April one and hope you all attend at Waynesville NC. on the 24th of April.

I don't think you should stop. Maybe defer TN meets to the new rep, but not all of yours are in TN.  I see GA and NC on your schedule, and know the one in Feb was in AL.  I definitely enjoyed lunch at the AL Meet-N-Greet, but will be unable to make the one this month.  Not sure about Waynesville just yet.

I'm in agreement with T-3.  This board has hundreds of times the activity of the MGNOC site.  I visit here once a day on average.  I might hit the MGNOC site once a year!  Just now I went over there to see what Bob was talking about.  Went to the Tennessee meetings and clicked on the link shown.  Dead link that took me to a Go-Daddy "This is available..." yada, yada.  Fail.
Their site seems clunky and badly out of date...hmmm.  Well, it IS a Moto Guzzi web site! Now, if Bob wanted to co-ordinate his meets with the Tennessee chapter, or at the least, the Tennessee chapter could post their meet-up here as well.  The MGNOC site as it exists now don't do a very good job of getting the word out, IMHO.

The new TN- MGNOC is just trying to set up a ride each and every 2nd Saturday to meet at Sloan's in Murfreesboro, TN at 9:30am. From there it will be breakfast and a ride to wherever (from what I understand). IMHO, this is in no way trying to stop anyone else from scheduling rides or meets but only adds more options to our enjoyment oft he Moto Guzzi marque.

 WildGuzzi, MGNOC, GuzziTech all have their places and everyone should embrace each of them for what they bring to all of us.

 On a personal note I'm up for these short (close to home) days rides as I have a wife who has to stay home most of the time. My wife Jeanne of 37 years has serious breathing issues is on oxygen almost 24/7.  I also have to help my 84 year old mother has my father is in the final stages of dementia.

 Bob, you have done a great job trying to meet the needs of fellow Guzzi riders in the area and hope to see you again!
