Off road E bikes

These two front wheeled bikes might be a nice toy.  They say it’s got great off road abilities. Sounds like they are hard to wipeout on so my guess is that when you do wipeout it’ll be spectacular.

Up here in Vortex-Land (aka Sedona), we are seeing more and more E-bikes on the roads these days. Dozens of tourists / tour groups on E-bikes like this...in the bicycle lanes...with nobody peddling!!!

I have been an avid cyclist for way longer than I've ridden a motorcycle.  I hate the term e-bike.  We see them all the time in San Francisco, especially on the pedestrian lane of the Golden Gate Bridge.  If you can't carry the dam thing up a flight of stairs it's an electric motorcycle.  Many weigh well in excess of 100 pounds and go over 30mph, and many folks who "ride" them clearly don't know WTF they are doing.  I understand they serve a function, but if you can't carry it, then keep them out of bike lanes and trails meant for hikers and cyclists.

My best friend and I ride his KTM enduros throughout the Cape Cod National Seashore dirt roads.  We thought of getting electric dirt bikes but he correctly pointed out that the ic engine noise warns people we are coming.  - has driven all the city people out here and into the woods. With electric we could come around a corner and smoke someone, or worse a dog.  All that aside, I would gladly try an electric “bicycle” if offered.
