Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road.

As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride.

With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.

Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman.

The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally.

'What in bag?' asked the old woman.

Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, 'It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband, a  Moto Guzzi rider'

The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two.

Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said:

'Good trade'.....

A guy is walking in the park and sees a lady sitting on a bench with a dog sleeping near her feet.
The guy goes up to the lady and says..
“Hi does your dog does bite..?”
“No..” says the nice lady
“Does he like to be patted..?” Says the guy attempting to appear sensitive and new age.
“Yes, he does..” says the lady
With that the guy reaches out to pat the dog and is attacked, leaving him bloodied and shocked.
“I thought you said your dog doesn’t bite...!” Says the man angrily
“He doesn’t..” Says the lady
“That’s not my dog...”

I recently learned that the ingestion of aluminium is a contributory cause of the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
I have a new set of stainless steel ones so I thought I’d toss my old aluminium ones away..
But I’m buggered if I can remember where I left them...

I have been with my long suffering partner now for over 20 years..
“Why don’t we get married Peter..?” She said
“Nah..” I said
“Don’t get me wrong though, marriage is a great institution, I just don’t think I‘m ready for an institution..”
