 did the rolling thunder ride yesterday from the Merritt island Veterans museum to Patrick spaceforce base to port Canaveral had over 1000 riders it was great to see all the people lining the road along the way only 2 guzzis mine and a young lady on a v72 unfortunately the picture was blurry

Here in Lindale, TX, pop 4,400,  the American Legion Post 15 held a nice memorial service. Pleasant weather greeted the 80 attendants.
Three of us set up the chairs(groan) and everyone helped put them back in the trailer. Smile.

Some (not many) of you are too young to recall that Veterans Day was originally called Armistice Day, named for the truce that brought an end to WW1.
