I love rain

Here on Cape Cod we have three days of steady rain this weekend. There are so many reasons I love it:

Helps the water table
The garden needs it
Keeps me from doing yard work
Cuts down on weekend distractions
Annoys the tourists
Keeps my money in my wallet, and most of all:
THREE DAYS OF UNOBSTRUCTED GARAGE TIME!!!

The weather around Portland and Seattle is "magical" during June-July-August-September. 

But the rest of the year..."Oh boy!"

I fondly remember hiking through the Olympic Peninsula Rain Forest years ago!  A beautiful, lush, green place!!

We are having a good Spring this year. Summer does not become reliable until July 5th. But from then until early October, it is a safe bet. Mildest weather in the lower 48.
