Leaky butterfly. 1100 sporti
« on: June 02, 2021, 11:20:48 AM »
Just starting the process of fitting new bushes and seals in the rh throttle body . When I got the body off I held it upto the light and noticed this. Not the best photo but I think it shows my problem. There is a large crescent shaped gap at the bottom of the butterfly. I cannot persuede the butterfly down . Hmm.

Make sure the right hand throttle body idle set screw has been backed out completely. It usually has been because it’s redundant, the left side idle screw should be the only one that’s used on the bike, but it’s worth checking.

For a kit you might call Curtis Harper, I remember him working on that very subject.

Lucky Phil posted an excellent thread on bush and seal replacement . I'll change those and see how it looks after.
