Every man and his dog wrote about their new V85 when they dropped.
Some individual threads ran 10 pages.
It got to the stage where it was not possible to say anything new.

Maybe v7 buyers are more into riding their bikes, than trying to convince others of how smart they were to buy it?  (Shrug)

There are no V7 riders, there are no V85 riders..
There are just riders, it doesn’t require analysis. They just want to share their experience...
