Hello Fellow MG Riders, mines a 2017 Stelvio NTX. Generally been an outstanding machine but a continuous string of niggly maintenance issues too.
This new one has me stumped though. At cold start the bike fires up fine, runs for perhaps 3 to 5 seconds then dies, engine shuts off.
Get a warning red triangle on the dash that lasts for about 2 seconds, and in the lower dash window a message saying ECU and little picture of a disconnected electrical plug.
I have my service access code and upon interrogating both the ECU and the Dashboard for codes, it has none.
Any ideas what to do to trouble shoot this one?
Thanks guys - Tom

I would check connector behind dash at the ECU - big connector and lots of prongs.  Clean all well with DeOxit spray, my 2 cents…

What Mark said, also there is a ground wire for the ecu off one of the mounting bolts, clean that up  as well. I would also clean up and re tighten the battery connections just for the fun of it.   Hope it's that simple,
