Just got an e-mail this morning that Triumph is going Motocross and Enduro racing.  They've got Ricky Carmichael in to the fold.

That is one tough market to be competitive in , going up against the 4 Japanese companies , KTM , Gas Gas , Husqvarna , and some of the smaller boutique brands .

to keep development cost down, my guess is that one of those smaller boutique brand will get a union jack sticker on the tank. helps that band enter the market, and keeps Triumph's cost down. perhaps TM, Beta, AJP, SWM ???
Nothing much better than a Tannat from the Salta region.

Yeah, remember Cannondale. They tried to do it all out of the gate. Saw how that worked out.

Most insiders believe AFT will go all production class before long , rumor has it they have already informed Polaris . The RE might be very good even on the mile once the valve train can withstand sustained 9,500 RPM's .

I think it's time, since no one else is competing.  Remember when the Kaws and Harleys were racing 10 years ago, after Honda and Harley 20 years before?
