Could be worse, I guess.  Actual temp only 91/92F (33C)  but with an 81F (27.2C) dew point, and 78% humidity actual feels like is 110F, but it's not so bad as its a very wet hot!

I can't recall ever seeing a dew point in the 80s, I'm sure it's nothing new, but it is for me.

Just hit 78 dew point here at 93 degrees. 78 ties the highest I have seen here.

This is the time of year that I seldom ride.  Too Hot.  I can usually find some days to ride any month of the year but the last two weeks of Jul and first 2 of Aug.

Take the windshield off and soak the tee shirt cover with synthetic jacket.

Indeed, they advertise them here too. They would work as advertised maybe 4-5 days a summer if you were lucky here.

I rode around 800 miles in that heat with a leather jacket and a windshield over my cold water soaked t shirt,which I resoaked at gas stops.I don’t recommend long trips in this weather and chickened out of Datil,but I do local rides every day.As an old guy once said when a tourist in Wisconsin complained about the heat :it will be cold soon enough.

Took a breakfast ride this morning to meet some buds and it was nice.
Coming home around 11:00am we ran into two construction zones where we had to sit in traffic for what seemed to be 10 minutes but in reality more like 5. By the time I got home it was miserable mostly due to the high due point and near 90 degrees. I don’t like summer in the south🥵

I have found summers in Iowa to be just as brutal as summers in Western Carolina and Georgia.
