Hello all,

Thanks to Beardog's generosity, I have been able to sample many Guzzis over the years, enjoyed them all, but somehow resisted their charms when planning to buy another bike. That is, until I saw the V85TT when it came out. Even then, it still had tubed tires, dealer network is sparse, etc. etc. I had a 1999 GL1500SE Anniversary edition in one-year-only Merced Green for many, many years until losing it to an unseen coolant spill in a sun-dappled curve. RIP.

So, what do I see this year in my motorcycle magazines? A Green Anniversary V85TT with tubeless tires! A few emails and calls later, I made one my own. Just getting acquainted with it over a few hundred miles and really enjoying its character. Of course, I had added a few accessories at purchase and am looking to add more (thinking windshield).

I participated in this forum some years ago, but had let my attention lapse. I look forward to using it again to connect with current V85TT owners, learning from their experiences and suggestions. Perhaps I will have a contribution or two of my own to make as I go forward with this fine motorcycle.

Let the new journey begin. . .

  Well, it's great to have you here with us Moto Guzzi lovers !  Welcome ......You'll find alot of useful info and of course the usual banter.  There are a lot of folks here that have the new V85TT and put some miles on them too.  So, hang around and join in for the fun and fellowship.  You'll be glad you did !!!  The Kid :grin:

Congrats.  I am resisting test riding one, but the force is strong with this one.  I must stay away from Sloan's.
