Givi bags refurb question
« on: August 19, 2021, 09:56:58 PM »
I have a pair of Givi bags  that are showing some age so I’m looking for a product to use on them that will help darken the fade and hide the scratches without degrading the plastic. Good bags, forty plus years old. What do you use for that?

Maybe buff them out with mild abrasive polish?

Don't laugh, but you might try a little Lemon Pledge. Honda Spray Polish also works well on plastic.

Try an inconspicuous spot first.

Based on its description and reviews. I’ll post results, good or bad

I have used Lemon Pledge on them in the past and I attribute the bags good condition to it. I switched them to a newer bike so I wanted something a little more aggressive to hide their age. Not quite aggressive as heat though that does work well.

Mothers Back to Black cream works excellent and lasts a good while!
