Looks nice but that's more money than my local Guzzi dealer just sold their 10th anniversary racer for.

I agree, it’s pretty pricey. Probably will be for sale for a while.

I’m always amazed that every bike that is for sale is not worth what the seller is asking. The commentators are generally not in the market and apparently don’t realize that when they want to sell their bike will probably get the same disrespect. Why do Guzzi people feel the need to knock the brand?

It's not knocking the brand at all. It's simply pointing out that the asking price for a 10 year old V7 racer with 560 miles on it is higher priced than what a local Guzzi dealer sold a brand spanking new 10th Anniversary V7 racer for last month (which, along with the upgraded engine and transmission also has a front fairing and very nice factory bar end mirrors).

I hope he does get his asking price. I have a 2014 V7 racer that I purchased last year with 1,200 miles (1,900 km) on it for around $4,750 USD which at the time was a reasonable deal but would make it an absolute steal if the market value is now over 8K USD

If the price was cut in half....  it would still be 15% overpriced. This is not a desirable model by any measure. Sure it would be a great bike for someone, but there have been 4 incarnations released since this was new... and the low milage is outweighed by the fact that it has been sitting unridden for 9 years. Even if it's climate controlled storage, at a bare minimum it needs new tires! You can find a 2020 V7III off the showroom floor with a warranty for that price.

Sorry, love the brand but facts are facts

The seller believes it is a collectible. In 1988 there were new Le Mans models that were improvements on  the 78 yet the 78 became the model collectors wanted.I suspect that the same arguments would have been made then.I personally would only be interested in the newer models but I am a rider not a collector

When the 2019 Vllls were basically sold out at my local dealer, all were gone except except for three Racers. Not a popular model in my neck of the woods. Cool bikes but I think not for the older crowd that rides Guzzis. Back in my younger years one would have been perfect for me but not now. In fact I set up my R90/6 in that style. A bike I wish I had kept.
