Moto Guzzi Classics Great Visit with Mark!
« on: November 19, 2021, 12:07:31 PM »
Had the opportunity to pop in and see Mark the owner of Moto Guzzi Classic, on my recent trip to Cali.  Very cool old school kind of shop (my kind  of shop) and a super nice guy!  Really enjoyed my visit and wish I had more time.  Boy does he have a bone yard of goodies, been doing Guzzi's for 37 years!  I'll be be back next trip, I made a new Guzzi friend!

Hey Curt, thanks for posting, I enjoy shop pics!

I got a reman Millenium cyls, CP-Carrillo pistons & ring set from Mark in 2017 for my '72 Eldo, it worked out great.  FWIW, the forged Carrillo's were beautiful....too nice for an old Eldo??!!

In prior years I had business in Northern Cali and regret not making a run south to Mark's neck of the woods to meet & see the shop.  He had offered to pick me up at the airport if I flew in too!  The few times I've chatted with him on the phone were very enlightening and enabled me to work through some carb & rocker issues with the Eldo.  IMO, great down to earth guy and asset to the Guzzi community.

Mark’s one of a kind for sure.  I visit every time I’m out in the area, and have spent HOURS hanging out with him.  And he’s so generous with his time and advice.

Support MG Classics whenever possible.
