That looks exactly like the first full-sized bike I ever rode.  It belonged to a college dorm-mate who bought it brand new, IIRC.

Non standard muffler but a tidy bike.

The CB/SL 100/125 Honda motors were amazing.

The CB had a chrome muffler, the SL had a low black muffler, and the XL had a high black muffler.

The bike I remember had the low black muffler.

<edit> NZ bikes could have been different from USA bikes.
