Lowered pegs for Grisos, others?
« on: December 14, 2021, 01:56:31 PM »
I just bought a new-to-me '13 Griso and am now perilously short of motorcycle spending money.

I had Knight Design lowered pegs on a previous Griso but got sticker shock this time around. Perhaps something made in China...

Aprillia pegs and Guzzi pegs are the same, right? How about a Tuono V4R, that is pretty racey:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CKX178/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?

Perfect fit and multiadjustable. I put them down and a little back.

Ignore the Blue lock-tite drooling, I wiped it off.

I have the Knights on my Griso, and although they are a work of art, but, they were put on by the original owner, who was much less a cheapskate than myself!  If I were to do it on my dime, I would probably go with what you did, which looks very nice.
it amazes me at some of the machined stuff coming out of China for "peanuts". I just bought a set of Roxx Riser copys for my Ural for 35 bucks shipped. Yeah, one of the bolts had a defective head, which I replaced with a bolt from my  accumulated assortment. The risers themselves seem well machined, and fit as they should, offering the adjustability I was looking for , at $100. less. I figgured what the heck, its for the Ural, Russian castings are not exactly world class!

Save your pennies, buy the knight design. ONE and done. Worth it.

Bear in mind that the knight pegs put your feet out slightly wider than stock, probably any lowered pegs do this... But worth remembering. I have a bit of a reach in to the shift pedal with the knight lowered pegs....

beautifully made though

I had the Knight Design pegs and the offset on these is about the same. I take a 14 W boot so the foot controls are easy to find.

I have installed Honda Goldwing 1800 pegs on my Stornello huge improvement over the solid stock ones. They are slightly lower and wide enough to clear the 2:1 exhaust on right side .They seem well made at $50 absorb any vibes and my boots don't slip off. Older model Honda pegs fit straight on V7s 5 minute job..
