Highly under-rated Superbike

I had forgotten that long before the latest, modern CB1100, they made these 26 years ago!! :thumb: :bow: :boozing:

On BaT now....so it will be interesting to see how much it brings...

I've got the CB1000s successor, the CB1300.
I don't think it made it over to the US, not sure why.
I love it, does everything well and that softly tuned il4 engine is a peach, although I've added a full Akra exhaust, PCIII and had it properly set up on a dyno which had upped bhp from about 114 to 127.  It is a heavy old thing at a stand still, but that drops away once you get moving.

I had a similar bike, the Suzuki GSX-1100G, lined up before I bought my EVT.  At the last second the guy pulled it from me and decided to keep it so I instead became a Guzzi guy.  Oh well!

Like a lot of bikes, I don't think the '94 & '95 CB1000's sold really well.  Expensive, heavy and a lot of other bikes to choose from.  I think they have become a bit of a cult bike in the interim.
