hi team first time post

hopefully the image attached comes out

LM2 tacho bolt is spinning in housing in back of tacho , looks like I need to take face (bezel)off tacho to get to it..?

Also are the bezals different widths ? trying to put LM2 speedo in LM1 dash and they dont over lap nicely over the edge?

thanks for any help

I just had the same problem with my V11 tach.  The stud that the mount screws onto was indeed spinning in the can.

I had to uncrimp the bezel with 2 HD hose clamps and a small screwdriver.  The technique has been covered both here and in the V11LeMans forum.

After I repainted the tach needle I drilled out the stud and replaced it with a machine screw, star lockwasher and nut.  Since the bezel did not crack I was able to re-use it.

If you can somehow stop the bolt spinning without having to take the bezel of do it.
Taking the bezel of is prone to breakage.
A couple of locknuts or thread locker perhaps.

Could you clean it really well and JB weld it from the outside?
