Renewed mine in September, received the new one in November despite being told in might take 6 months. Normal application, no rush job.

I didn’t have a passport between 1985 and 2015.  I’m sorry I didn’t get one sooner.  We’ve been traveling to France and Spain and I love it. One day I’ll ship a bike over and just ride, eat, drink coffee, ride...

Well, you just did the latter despite your former.   

And, in my world, $20, while not catastrophic, is hardly trivial, so I appreciate the post.  IOW, if I saw Andrew Jackson on the street, I would certainly bend over to give him a hand.   

I only regret not knowing sooner.

Apologies if I am crabby.   

In Seattle, flight(s) home cancelled.  [Delta 800-line recording: "Your estimated wait time is 3 hours and 46 minutes!    Finally booked another -- on Alaska Air -- for Friday, but, regrettably, suspect that will get cancelled, too, probably after first leg to Portland.   

On the bright side, as I can't be on a plane or ride or much of anything else, I am playing (and losing) a tug-of-war match with another "old dog" -- a sweet female yellow lab.  She shamelessly cheats and has covered this knotted rope with slippery slobber.

He already did.  I plan to spend it on checked baggage for the now-different airline.  What a $cam.   

Back to the Lab who is giving me that woeful "Please stop that and play with me" look.

I'll just get a passport card when my passport expires.  Maybe if the world returns to normal one day I will travel internationally.
