1935 Moto Guzzi tourer
« on: February 08, 2022, 07:55:07 PM »
Lots of pictures of a nice 1935 GTV for auction in the UK.  A friend owns the consecutive frame number 2810 and 2811 - surprising to see after almost 90 years.

Wow that ticks all the boxes! I would love to own it.
What’s the guess on the sale price?

I have no idea, but guessing the reserve is probably 8,000 pounds (about $12,000).  At that price it would be a better deal than mine!  What do you think?

That's a beauty...I wonder if an original Norge is available for sale somewhere...just imagine having both editions in the garage...the old and the new.

Sounds like a very honest description, fair warning that engine should be opened up and checked. That will likely scare off some folks. I would think it may go for closer to $15K USD but it seems values of the older Guzzis are not strong in Europe these days. I think shipping would be expensive to North America.

The description is really honest. Was this the bike involved in the owner’s accident? I don’t see much evidence of it.

Up to 8,000 pounds and reserve has not been met.  Starting to look like real money.

It bid up to 11,350 GBP and didn't meet reserve.  Wow! That's over $15,000 for a non-runner.  I may not be as underwater on mine as I thought!
