Hydrogen powered…no tail pipe emissions

450 hp…with no detrimental effects on the air quality

Notice the name Yamada in there? That’s the original name of the YaMAha family founders

Pretty crazy for Toyota to be asking YaMAha for engineering

Yamaha has a long history of development for other manufacturers, including Toyota-see the 2000 GT.

Hydrogen on the other hand seems to have some big obstacles.

Also supplied V8s to Mercury Marine. I also read elsewhere that their motorcycle division or whatever it is called is having financial troubles.

I think, although I can certainly be wrong, that the big V6 Yamaha outboard is based off the same engine as the SHO Taurus.
