Oil Viscosity Question - 2004 EV 1100

Was 5W-40 the original viscsity specification for the "hydro" motors in the 2003 - 2005 California 1100 motors ?

Hydro engines.....YES. Also specd synthetic.

Yep, 5w-40. But that's only part of the spec.
To make it easy look for an oil with Porsche A40 or BMW Long Life (I think its LL-01) spec
