Crossing state lines for moral purposes
« on: June 19, 2022, 07:05:15 PM »
The Swede is now off the couch, he got the final ok from the ortho doc, and then he successfully turned Japanese. I may still be slow on two feet, but I’m not slow on two wheels !

Stayed in Talihina, Oklahoma. Hit the Choctaw Nation Museum, and spent an hour talking to the fascinating curator.  Did the Talimena Parkway 2.5 times.  Chicken fried steak at Queen Wilhelmina restaurant. Then took OK 82 north to Stigler, 9 West, and dropped back down on OK 2.  750 mile weekend.  Great to be back in the game !!!

I’m impressed that you can wail on this engine and yet get dang good gas mileage.

Accentuate the positive;
Eliminate the negative;
Latch on to the affirmative;
Don't mess with Mister In-Between.

Great report. It must be nice to just get on a bike and ride it and not look for leaky fuel lines etc.
