Hello guys. Well I finally got back to Calgary from my Cabin and was able to install my new Parabellum windshield on my 2014 MOTO GUZZI CALIFORNIA CUSTOM 1400.

This is a very high quality screen, it fit great and looks great as well. Very happy with it. I did notice yesterday that when I passed some cars on the highway at very high speed. I did get some buffeting but what can you expect, one should not be driving that fast! But at normal highway speeds up to say 75 mph you feel nothing behind this windshield , its very solid and is made of very high quality

Kit was very well packaged and arrived safely, the only comment I have from doing the fitment was that a few extra hardware parts, ie, nuts and washers, rings and plastic caps would have been a god send to have.

As I did my install down in my parkade, and one small nut and washer were dropped, bounced and went into the storm drain never to be scene again. This nut and washer needed to be started to the lower screw, in a very tight spot on the mount that’s on the side of the headlight. Also one of the plastic rings that hold the black caps on for the finished look, will not attach and stay on the white plastic ring on the screw that holds the screen to the mount. It snaps on then pops off again. I took it off and it has a deformed moulding shape or will not hold the cap on in place. So again some extra hardware would be really a good thing.

From the Parabellum Web Site;
The Parabellum Touring windshield for the Motto Guzzi California has a special Euro touring shape, angle and bow that will give you quiet protection and less air drag. It accommodates the new configuration headlight while maintaining a classic look and makes your riding experience more comfortable and pleasurable whether you are running errands or touring across the country. The windshield is light weight, bolt-on and comes with stainless steel hardware. The windshield is 3/16 inches thick and made of military aircraft grade cast acrylic for excellent clarity. The Parabellum Touring Shield is 22 inches wide and offered in three heights and in clear or tint.

Here is a link to the Moto Guzzi Windshields they make. I went with the tall 22" and smoke colour, see pictures, it looks great on my bike. Great service from Brenda as well at Parabellum, high quality product for a very reasonable cost, well packaged, nice fit, what can I say! Contact her at brenda@parabellum.com maybe say you found them on the wildguzzi forum!
