With the rim riding configuration I agree. Pretty sure I see a field of half-seized sprats and brass plated nickel slits. The bracketed caps and splay-flexed brace columns are typical with vent dampeners to dampening hatch depths of one half meter from the damper crown to the spurve plinth.

If I’m not mistaken, they would bolster 12 husk nuts to each girdle jerry while flex tandems press a task apparatus of ten? vertically composited patch hamplers then pin flam-flastened pan traps at both maiden apexes of the jimjoints.

… but it’s just a guess.

But that completely misses the point of the "superior" (feel and arguably design) of the E4 V9 motor.

Maybe the finer minutiae and subtleties of the V85 vs. V9 mills are lost on me.

As cheap as used Guzzis go for, I suppose buying both a V7 and a V9, then doing an engine swap would be the cleanest method.  Stick the V9 mill into the V7 and keep it.  Stick the V7 mill into the V9 and sell it to recoup some of the costs.

The world has not nearly enough Frankenguzzis.

I can't remember when you bought your bike, but bear in mind the TSB was just released mid-April 2022.

Right, it’s about the V9 E4 motor.

All else remaining the same, if I could snap my fingers and have the V9 engine in my V7 frame I'd do it in a heartbeat.  It pulled better on the bottom, ran better on top, loved regular gas and got 60 mpg.

You ran regular (87) gas with no problem?

Never ran anything else.  2017 V9 Roamer.

The owner’s manual calls for 90 octane (US rating). I’m surprised you haven’t had pinging problems especially in hot weather.

It’s weird to me.  I didn’t read this whole thread, but I think I get some of the point, folks really like the punch and overall feel of the original v9.

To bad practically no one over here was willing to buy one when they had a chance.

But I did.  Dropped 1k in suspension improvements and now have one of the most entertaining motorcycles I can imagine.

I’m so silly I bought 2 Roamers and 1 Bobber and didn’t do the suspension upgrades and tweaks to any of them.  :violent1:
