Lousiana Rally Nov 4 to Nov 6, 2022

Come pass a good time with us at the Bayou Wilderness RV Resort in Carencro, Louisiana Nov 4th - 6th.

Will be kick-en tires and tell-in lies underneath the beautiful oak trees of South Louisiana. Tent camping is $10 per night, you must provide your adult beverages. Plenty of Cajun cuisine can be found all around! Campground offers lots of open or shaded camping area with showers and a group campfire area (That's where all that kick-tires and tell-in lies takes place).

So close to my favorite Cajun restaurant,  Prejean's. Great food. Unfortunately i can't make it this weekend.

Well dang it.  Me and the entire family are sick.  Apparently not -, but a bad flu.  You guys have fun down there this weekend.

Dang it, Smith Swede! You won't get to see me. I am currently in El Dorado AR. Gonna ride down to Ruston LA and do the rest tomorrow morning.

If no one else wants to give a review, I will.
Like most small gatherings, it was quiet and laid back. I call it a success in that there were no fistfight, no bike crashes and no mechanical failures.
Guys and gals came from Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and of course, Louisiana.
For me, it was all about getting some oysters, crayfish and catfish. Yum!

   Like Bill said, quiet and laid back. Not like the old days. Still, I enjoyed every minute. Had the best burger I ever had at that hole in the wall store called R&L Food Mart.  Corner of Gloria Switch road and Moss road. Next night had a great meal at Prejeans. Blackened Ahi with garlic mashed potatos and asparagus spears. My friend Jeff bugged out at 5:30 Sunday morning. Packed up in the rain. Pffft. I waited a while and stuff was wet but it wasn't raining. I made it just past Tallahassee the first day and then home today. Helped a young (22 years old) rider when I stopped at a wayside for a break. He had a flat rear tire. I carry a plug kit and CO2 cartridges. Got him going. Nice young kid who now has a story to tell. That's how it all starts.

Way to go ,not much feels as good as helping out someone’s who needs help.I think most of us have been on both sides of those situations.Sounds like a memorable rally and trip.
