I don't think there is much out there, unless a Stornello V7 would fit, good luck.

i would love the equipment...and skills to make one.  i might be better off with something that follows the headers...might be more out there...but is  a very upswept silencer...anyone know of such a thing existing for a 70's v50?

Nothing off the shelf as far as I've ever seen.
The first high level pipes for the small blocks were fitted on the 650/350 NTX's .
Not so easy to find now but in Italy there will still be a few kicking about.

Go to Subito in Italy...To be honest I think they could be improved by eliminating the first silencer under the side panel which is restrictive and rots really fast. The blending piece for the two header pipes could be better too.As  they are they are probably made to give the most mid range. Some of the similar Baja race bikes had lower  two in ones but with a single mega https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OqXTjivPvA

Could the OEM system from a V65TT be made to fit?

It should but unless you have one you'll have a hard task finding one  in usable condition now.The collector on those tends to rot out badly and  fewer of those bikes were made than the NTX  .

The NTX doesn't seem to be as good as it could be either. At some point mine will be fitted with a standard road set up to see if there is a better way of doing it.
