New Driving Lights

One of the $15 Chinesium LED's burned out, so I replaced them with $25 Chinesium lights. Hope they last more than 2 years! If they dont, I'll likely solder in some weather proof plugs. I have the same on 3 of my 5 and this one was the first (and newest) to fail. Pleasantly surprised to find these were much smaller than the previous items, Look much better. NOT really for seeing but to be seen, are wired to the ignition and are always on.
80K miles and counting!!! LOVE the (Bobs) 1200 Sport.
I forgot to post when I changed out the exhaust to a Mistral. The stock was fine but you know, always looking and wanting more so I got this can from MG Cycle. Is just a tad louder with the DB reducer in place, and has NO popping on over run. Much louder without, but the weather and work realities are not cooperating to ride so I am yet to see how the motor and Beetle Map deals with the can with the DB reducer removed. I expect midrange pull to drop.

I want to make my own “Moto lights” kit for my 94 cali. The brackets will have to be custom for the front axle. Prolly won’t happen but it’s on the docket

The most sensible addition to my V85 was these Denali spots.
I don’t remember what the wattage quote was, but I think 65 each…(could be wrong). But anyway, they are utterly fabulous, I’ve never had or seen better lights on 2 wheels.

Had the small Denali spots on my Stelvio. Loved them. They provided a lot of light with very low draw on the charging system. Need to add a set to my Norge.

I mounted a pair of these on my V7, they really improve the visibility.
I ran the cables into the headlight bucket and connected to the city light bulb through individual 2 Amp reed switches triggered by a magnet on the outside of the bucket.
I combined the driving lights on a bracket with a pair of after market horns.
The 1/8" aluminium bracket is fixed to 6mm threaded holes I found under the steering head.

Have had my Stedi, 25w on three bikes now, controlled by a Skene controller that gives adjustable output while ignition is on and 100% on high beam.
