Guzzidiag, '16 V7 Racer. Wierd Readings?

I was helping a friend with a 2016 V7 Racer that just is acting rich or something when cold. Idles a bit better when warmed up. When cold, the exhaust smells rich to me, burning my nose.

Hooked up Guzzidiag to see if I could find anything interesting. The bike had quite a bit of work done on it including a battery change. It did have a few codes. Cleared all but one. P0611 error. This one appears that a dealer needs to clear. All others never came back after a few starts of the engine.

I wanted to mention. I selected "V7 Racer>2012" (can't remember the exact year it said, but I think that ">" means greater than/newer than)

I took a few pics of my Guzzidaig screen. Everything looks OK except with the engine running. Guzzidiag was way off on the RPM and throttle angle with the engine running. Throttle angle would not change with the engine running, only with engine off.

Idle per the tach was about 1500 RPM when idling.

Any thoughts as to why Guzzidaig is so far off when running? Did I pick the wrong bike? Any thoughts on why the readings are not matching with the engine running or engine off?? Especially RPM and Guzzidiag doesn't see any throttle movement with the engine running. I didn't take a pic of when I increased the throttle while running, only at idle.

Could there be an issue with the ECU when the engine is running?

For GuzziDiag v0.47, select V7 Stone.

Or...Update to v0.60 and select V7 II racer.

Gave it a shot with V0.60. With the engine off, all reading look normal. Engine running and the RPM, volts and the throttle angle still does not change. I know the software is working, it work fine on my EVT.

Also with V0.60 when I close the program, I loose all the headers for the readings. As in if box 1 is RPM and I set it for that, close the program, RPM heading is gone and I have to add it again. Does this on 2 tablets. For some reason it keeps rewriting the .ini file that hold my preferences.

I had forgot about the Relearn the V7 has. Did both today and now it's running pretty good, not great but good. Probably like it came out of the factory.

Battery connections OK? Ground connections? The K-Line diagnostic cable is only two wires. One to the ECU and ABS module, and one to ground. Maybe the ABS module is causing it?
