I'm surprised, did you contact Odyssey?  The 545 in my Daytona is on it's side and no problems in 10 years.

I've got one of those batteries too.  I used a Harbor Freight charger, typically it registers at 13.7 v

the DiLithium Crystal batteries won't be available for 350 years, so I went with AGM.

I sell lithium lead acid replacement batteries, but when it came time to change the battery  in my BMW GS I went with sealed lead acid.  The reason is that SLAs tend to degrade gracefully.  Lithium has a circuit board that disconnects the battery abruptly when it thinks there is a danger.    Less likely to be caught with my pants down with SLA.
