Caballero 700
« on: May 04, 2023, 09:45:04 AM »
This is motorcycle related but not Guzzi.

I don't know if these bikes are imported, they're Italian designed with Yamaha T7 engine.  I like the styling, more old school, no beak.  An Adv Bike that I could learn to like, particularly if I could get my 30in inseam on it.

Does anyone know about the brand?  Are they in the US?  I just read not imported (I posted a different article than I read)

I like it! That engine should be bulletproof.I think it would make for a nice "desert sled" bike.  :thumb: :thumb:

Looks like a dirt-tracker to me.  Not an ADVbike.

Both that and the single cylinder 500 are my number one I would buy if available bikes.  Unfortunately they are not.
I have a buddy that contacted their headquarters in Colorado and asked status of import:  Reply was "maybe, we hope so,
not currently, we're working on it."     Fantic does import high end bicycles to the US.  These bikes tick all my boxes.

it has roots to the Tenere 700.  I suppose it's how you define Adv?

This is a "scrambler", that's what was a dual-sport before there were adv bikes.  Yeah, the front tire is a little large.   Anyway, I like the looks of it.

The Flat Track- old school scrambler look.  No, I suppose I wouldn't want to go on 2k mile trip that was 1800 mile highway and 200 miles dirt road.

Anyone of our European members have an opinion rather than us keyboard riders?
