New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
The air filter (AP8104924) is on all small blocks (including the current E5 models) since 2012.
Some V7II's in'15 or '16 had issues with the crankshaft thrust washers.
So would that make this ad to be in error? https://www.dnafilters.com/product/Motorcycle-Filters/Moto-Guzzi/DNA-1559/MG-V7/MotoGuzzi-V7-750-Series-(08-21)-DNA-Air-Filter-R-MG7N20-01
"imploding shaft"?Are you asking about the undersized cranks?!?If so, no. Afaik Piaggio never had a solid grip on it. My guess is a batch of bad cranks was mixed with rest and they couldn't be certain which ones got a bad one and which got a good one.To the point, they never issued a straight up recall based on VIN. You had to operate until failure and submit a warranty claim for a new motor. Most seemed to go udders skyward by 5-6k miles at most.
Kev, you caught my error and answered the question - 2 points to the guy who writes manuals. Thanks.I was target fixated on the thread about V7 as a tug… was a back of the mind consideration for the re build.
